  • How much does it cost to use?

– Commission-Based: 5% commission on completed jobs.
– Monthly Plan: $50/month.
– Annual Plan: $500/year.

  • Can anyone join as a mobile mechanic professional?

No. We’re currently invite-only to maintain high-quality professionals in each service area.

  • Are the service providers employees of Mobile Mechanic Bids?

No, all service professionals are independent contractors.

  • What is included in submitting a bid?

Your bid will include an estimated cost, estimated completion time, and an optional section for additional details.

  • How should I use the area designated on the estimate to “provide additional details”?

No two service requests are exactly alike. Use this space to explain your bid — pricing conditions, job specifics, cancellation terms, etc. If you want to enforce any cancellation fee, it must be disclosed here.

 

Payouts (for Professionals)

  • Why is my payout delayed?

Payouts may be delayed due to incomplete Stripe onboarding, unresolved disputes, or fraud review. Most jobs are paid out within 7 days. You’ll be notified if a delay occurs.

  • How long does it take to receive payment after completing a job?

Payouts are typically processed within 7 days of job completion through Stripe. Exact timing depends on your Stripe account’s verification status and our internal approval process. Delays may occur if the job is disputed or if onboarding is incomplete.
